テマキズシ、スイカワリ、オイシイネ Temakizushi, Suikawari are Amazing

This is Mayu, internship student in Duckstay.

先日、日本文化交流イベントが行われました！

手巻き寿司、スイカ割り

を通して日本の夏を感じて涼しくなってもらおう！

もっとゲスト同士、台湾人、日本人、何人でも関係なく交流してほしい！

ということでスタッフKeiくんがイチから企画したものです。

Last wednesday, we held japanese culture sharing event.

This event was aim to make participator feel japanese culture and communicate with other country's people

throgh Temaki-sushi and Suikawari!!

最初にスタッフKeiからスイカ割りと手巻き寿司の由来などの説明がありました。

世界に誇る日本食、”SUSHI” の起源など初めて知り、参加者の人も驚いていました！

First of all, Kei explained about the origin of Suikawari and Temakizushi.

Some of participants was surprised to know origin of sushi.

説明の後はスイカ割り！！！

After some introduction, we started Suikawari!!!

チーム対抗戦にして競いました。

Two teams compete each other.

アシストしてもらい、スイカを割ります・・・

最初に目隠しした状態で選んだ、たたき棒でたたく！

The challenger smash watermelon being assisted by teammate,

they uses the stick that challenger selected theirself wearing blindfold.

見事にぱかーん！と割れました！

Look, how beautiful that watermelon being smashed

黄色いすいかも甘くっておいし～～～～！！

Yellow watermelon is unexpectedly sweat!!

談笑もしつつ

Enjoying conversation,

手巻き寿司！！

ベジタリアンでも楽しめるのがいいですよね～

Next is Temakizushi!

this is good choice for party because even vegitarian can enjoy!

「私のおすすめはコレ！！！」

日本風でなくても、いいんです。好きなように楽しく巻いてくれればいいんです。

'This is my reccomend!'

It is ok not to follow Japanese traditional way.

Rather than that, we will be glad to see you are enjoying Temakizushi.
