台湾では恒例？BBQをする祭ってなーーに？？

台湾生活もあと3週間のインターン生のKeiです。
I'm Kei. My Taiwan life is almost 3 weeks left.
さて、先日はDuckstay HostelにてBBQを行いました。まずはじめに参加してくださった皆様、ありがとうございました。
We had BBQ party at Duckstay Hostel. First of all, I would like to appriciate to our participants. Thank you for coming.

(台湾人インターン生も来てくれました。ヤッホーー\^^/ Our Taiwanese intern joined us.\^^/)
スタッフの友人や宿泊者も参加してくださり絶好の交流会となりました。
It was nice time to talk with some guests and staff's friends.

さて、ここで疑問を一つ。
Now, I have a question.
なぜこんな9月下旬にBBQをやるのか？
Why do Taiwanese have BBQ party at the end of September?
それは、、、台湾の「萬家香醬油」という会社の企業戦略だそうです。まー、うまくPRに成功してようで根付いたようですね。まさか日本のバレンタインと同じような理由だなんて。（笑）
That is....Tauwanese company's ,萬家香醬油, coporate strategy. Well that worked really well and widespreaded. It is almost same reason as Japanese Valentine’s Day.
(定番の月餅と文旦/ Mooncakes and Buntan)
実は台湾の3大祝日の一つのようで旧正月と変わらないほど重要なものだそうです。
Actually, this is one of the most important cerebration day in Taiwan. Same as new year.
そのため家族で集まることが当たり前のようです。
So families gather on this day. It is comon sence in Taiwan.
もし参加しなかったら、家族を大事にしていない奴みたいな感じで見られるそうですよ。恐ろしい、、、、。
If you miss this time, you ignore you are the guy who don't values your family. I can't believe it...
てなわけで、BBQをして皆さん楽しむようです。
そのためスーパーマーケットへ行くとBBQセットが山のように積まれていたりと異様な光景を目にします。またお肉や野菜、魚介類も絶賛販売中でした。
So people enjoy BBQ.
If you go shopping to supermarket during this moon festival, you can see tons of BBQ sets. It is unusual obviously. And there are many beefs, vegetables and seafoods.
この時期に台湾へ来られていた方々は面白い光景を見れてよかったですね。
まだ見たことがないよーーって方はぜひ来年のこの時期に台湾へお越し下さい。

いやー、もう9月の下旬と考えると何だか夏が終わったんだなと実感しております。
It is almost end of September. SUMMER is over. I am sad.
さて、皆さんはゲストハウスに宿泊されたことはありますか？
どんなイメージをお持ちでしょうか？
So, have you ever stayed in guesthouse?
What kind of image do you have?
きっと出てくるイメージは
騒がしそう・怖そう・汚そう
It must be
noisy・scary・dirty
こんな具合でしょうか？
Is it right?
それではそのような心配を20％、いや50％くらい払拭するために宿泊の際のポイントを紹介したいと思います。
I will try to reduce the percentage of your concerns and introduce some points when you stay in guesthouse.

【Before staying】
①平日を狙う/Try to book on weekdays
忙しい社会人の皆さん、ごめんなさい。
平日なんて忙しいですよね。あ、、でも有給とか使えれば行けるのか。
Sorry.It is hard for social workers. But, it is okay if you can take paid vacations.
これは主に、お金をできる限りセーブして旅行したい かつ 時間に比較的余裕のある学生の皆さんに適しているのではないかと思います。
This ways is mainly for students who have time and want to save money.
なぜ平日かというと、ゲストハウス自体の稼働率が落ちるからです。
その為、Max8人ほどが共にするミックスドミトリーでも下手したら2人、いや一人で使用することもありえなくはないのです。しかもホテル等と比べると低価格。
The reason why I recommned you on weekdays is the occupancy rate for hostel decreace. So if you will stay in mix domitory, it will be 2 people in the room. Perhaps, only you.
②グループ（団体）で予約する/ Book in parties
これは、もう懐かしの林間学校スタイルを自分たちで再現するスタイルですね。
This is kind of camp style like your childhood.
運が良ければほんとに自分たちで貸し切り状態を作ることが出来ます。仮に、ほかの宿泊者がいても大人数でいれば気にならないではないでしょうか。
If you are lucky, the room will be for you. If there are others who you don't know, it is just okay.
肝は予約の段階で交渉できるかです。ぜひ頑張って下さい。
The point is negotiation when you book. Good luck.

【When you stay】
①共有スペースで料理をしてみる/Cooking in common space
これはどちらかというと他者とのコミュニケーションをするきっかけづくりですね。
This is the way to make a chance to communicate with others .
実際、私はDuckstay Hostelでよく料理をします。
Actuall, I oftten cook when I stay in hostel.
その時によく作るのが、そう。お味噌汁です.
At that time, I often cook miso soup.
＝日本人といっても過言ではないので、よく飲んでいると絡まれます。
it means ＝Japanese. So I have it frequently. Then some people talk to me.
簡単に話す友達を作れるのでおすすめです。逆パターンもあるので、料理をしている人に話かけてみるのもいいですね。
This way is good to make new friends. When you see people who are cooking, it is also good to try to talk.
②魔法をしっかり唱える（※あいさつをしっかりする）
/Casting a spell(※saying hello surely)
意外に外国語になるとできない人が多いのではないでしょうか。それも異国の地で。
でもほんとシンプルだと思います。ニコっとしながらHi！というだけですから。お忘れなく。
I guess some people cannot say hello when they feel nurvous like the situation when you have to speak other languages. In other countries. But I want to say "It is simple." Just say Hi! with smiling. Do not forget about it.
③耳栓をする/Using ear plags
自分の身は自分で守りましょう。
Try to protect by yourself.
中にはいびきがうるさい人もいます。
Someoen snore loudly.
ドアを閉める音がうるさい人もいます。
Someone close a door noisy.
遅くに帰ってくる人もいます。
Someone enter the room lately.
しょうがないです。許してあげてください。
It can't be helped. Please forgive them.
でも、耳栓すればちょっとは軽減されますよね。はい、大丈夫。
But if you put ear plags, it might be okay.
え、耳栓を忘れてしまったって？
Oh....You don't habe it?
大丈夫。Duckstay Hostelには耳栓を提供しておりますのでお気軽にご利用ください。

台湾と聞いて、皆さんは何を思い浮かべますか？
When you hear Taiwan, what do you image?
（Keiが台湾で一番うまいであろうと思うタピオカです。多くの観光客の方が行くのもうなずけます）
Perhaps, Bubble milktea? Taipei 101? Longshan Temple? or Pork rice?
全部、、、、、たまらないですね。（よだれ）
All of them are amazing. I love it. (drooling.)

夜市についてご紹介しようと思います。（👏パチパチパチ）
I am sharing about night market( clap your hands)
観光客の方が向かわれる夜市といえばここ、
I think the most popular one is
Shilin night market
いや、もうここ夜市というかデパートじゃないですかと突っ込みを入れたくなるような規模のフードコートを擁していることで有名ですよね。
This one seems like department store. It is famous for large food court.
もちろんここの夜市も好きですけどね。
でもなんか、、、、ディープさに欠けるというか、きれいすぎるというか、、、心の奥にある探求心をくすぐられないんですよね。
Of course, I like this night market, but it lucks the darkness, too clean. It doesn't tickle my curiosity.
私の頭の中の方程式はずばりこう。
This is an equation which I am thinking.
アジア×夜市＝ゾクゾク
Asia × night market = horripilation
ということで、台湾随一のディープさを誇る萬華区の夜市をご紹介したいと思います。
So I am going to share about night market which is in Wanhua where is called one of the most dubious night market in Taiwan.
艋舺夜市（Wanhua night market)
はっきりというと特徴はございません！いや、現地の方々が集うローカルな夜市っていうのが特徴かな。雰囲気は日本で言うと下町や西成に近しいかなと。なんせお財布に優しいのがありがたいです。こちらに来たら、外さないで頂きたいものがこちら。
Actually, there is no salient features at this market. No, it is a uniqu point that local people gatther this sight market. The atmosphere is like a Shimomachi or Nishinari,Japan. What I want to say is really cheap.If you come here, you should try these foods.
カジキのすり身の揚げ物（Fried minched marline with egg)
まずはその値段。なんと１本10元。ほかにも数カ所夜市に行っていますが見かけたのはこちらの夜市でのみ。近くのコンビニでビールを買い、この揚げものと一緒にぐびっとしませんか？たまりません。
The price is 10NTD. I have been to other night market, but I have never seen this food at other place. Have your favorite beer and drink it with this food. It is amazing.
葱抓餅（Onion pancake)
夜市入り口すぐに長蛇の列を見かけたらおそらくこのお店です。常に大行列なので少し我慢してくださいね。ネギが入ったサクサクふわふわのパンのような、ピザの土台のような食べ物です。お母さん（店員さん）が焼き上げる姿に注目！ おすすめは加蛋（卵を加える）と起司（チーズ）入りです。
When you see many people are in line near the night market sign , it must be this shop. Onion pancake is crunchy outside and fluffy inside. You should check the madam's performance to bake this pancake! We recommend you to add egg and cheese.
車輪餅（Wheel cake)
おやおや、これはあれですね。今川焼ですね。どれどれ、お味は、、、、。甘くない。控えめに言っても甘くない。台湾はお茶もタピオカも激甘なのに、なんで、、。という裏切りを受けましたが、あたりを見渡せば結構な確率で見つけれるので召し上がってみてください。値段は、、安いもので10元から。
Well, well. This is it. Imagawayaki. How about taste. It ..is..not sweet.Not at all. Whyyyy? Taiwanese tea and bubble tea are so sweet. Again, whyyyyy? You can find shops which are selling wheel cake. It only 10NTD.
華西街観光夜市 (Huaxi Tourist night market)
こちらは、かなり怪しいにおいがプンプンします。
This night market seems mysterious.
食事処もそこそこありますが、目立つのがマッサージ屋さんやアクセサリー、洋服屋さん、オトナなお店が連ねます。こちらの注目ポイントはずばりこれ。
There are many restaurants, massage shops, accessory shops, clothes shops and shops for adults. This is a fanous restaurant.
蛇のスープ＠金代山産薬膳坊 (Snake soup)
確実に滋養強壮ですね。気になるお味ですがあっさりしていてなんだか普通。じゃあ、きっと蛇のお肉がすごいんだ。と意気込むもののこれまた普通。もはやめちゃめちゃ骨のあるチキン。なかなか食す機会がないと思うので挑戦するのもありですね。
It is kind of analeptic. How about this taste? it is just okay. The soup is light.
So, the snake meat should be strange, but it is normal. Just tastes like chicken with too much tiny bones. You hardly ever have a chance to have snake in your daily life so you should try it when you come to this night market.
案外、大人同士でこれば楽しめる夜市なのではないでしょうか。他の華やかな夜市とは対照的ですが、他では味わうことのないアダルトな雰囲気があり珍しい夜市ではないかと思います。怪しいおばさんお姉さんもいるので海外だーって感じはします。日本人もなかなか来ないので日本語あんまり聞きたくないよって方にはいいかなと。
I think this night market will be nice place for adults. Compared with other night markets, it is not gorgeous. But seems like it has quite unique atmosphere.

いやー、あるよねー、あるよねーー。
毎朝、自分でセットした目覚まし時計にイラっとすること。どうもインターン生のKeiです。
It happens. It always happens.
I was annoyed when the alarm which I set rings in the morning. Hi, I am Kei, intern.
(誰だよ。こんなにアラームかけたやつ。あ、、、、自分や。）

きっと誰しもが些細なあるあるをお持ちのはずです。
I guess everyone has happenings.
今日は台湾で生活し始めて４か月が経過したKeiが思う台湾あるあるを紹介したいと思います。
Today, I want to share with you about my happenings in Taiwan. Actually, i have been here more than 4 months.
「そんなの知ってるわー！（怒り）」ってことや「そうなんやー！（驚き）」ってこともあるかと思いますがどうぞお付き合いください。m(._.)m
You will feel like " I know that one!" or " I didn't know that!" Please don't close this page now. m(._.)m
①車は常に縦列駐車(Always Parallel Parking)
日本の自動車学校では避けては通れない縦列駐車のテスト。
教官を横目に「いや、こんなんどこで使うねん！」と心で呟いていた私を含めた方々。台湾では必須テクニックです。（←、、、、だから何？）
日本では、、、なかなか発動しませんね。（笑）
If you go to driving school in Japan, you have to pass the exam for parallel parking.
I guess that you muttered by yourself in your mind "We hardly ever face that situations!" when you seated next to teacher.
BUT it is quite important skill in Taiwan. ←...So what?)
In Japan, ...hardly ever.
②原付・原付・原付 (many motor cycles)
「今日は何食べようかなー。」と道を歩いているとこれまた駐車された原付がズラリ。
歩道も構わずブンブン進んできます。歩行時にはご注意下さい。
また、早朝・夕方と通勤・帰宅ラッシュ時にはこれはもうたくさんの原付が信号の下で待ち、信号早く変われよ。と言わんばかりにいるので機会があれば見てみてください。
When you are walking and thinking what you will have, you can see many motor cycles which are parked.
People spmetimes driving even though you are walking footway. Be careful. And you can find some of them in the morning, people commite to their work place, or in the evening, people finsh working and going back to home.
③とりあえずのフリーWi-Fi( Trying to find Free Wi-Fi)
台北では多くの場所でフリーWi-Fiを利用できます。MRT駅構内、カフェ、バスの中、街の中、お店の中だったりと。ひょっとしてレンタルWi-Fi必要ないんじゃないかな？
You can get free Wi-Fi easily at many places in Taipei. For instance, MRT stations, inside buses, at Cafe, in the city and some shops. Perhaps, you don't have to borrow Wi-Fi.

④カップルがイチャイチャ( Many couples enjoying their time)
若者を筆頭にところ構わず、日中からイチャイチャされたいます。はい、もう慣れました。わかったから。だから、、、ね、、、。
At the head of young people, wherever and whenever they are having a nice time.
Okay. all right. ........please....sto..p....it. please..
⑤お買い物袋は有料( Paid plastic bags)
店員さん「メンバーズカード持ってる？」
Shopkeeper: " Do you have a member ship card?"
このタイミングではまだ聞かれません。
Not this time.

・Shopkeeper " Do you need a plastic bag?"

店員さん「会計431元になりますぅ～～～～。」
Shopkeeper: " Totally, 431 元”
ということです。レジ袋はお金とられるんでマイバッグをもってお買い物に行くことをおすすめします。
皆さん、資源は大切に！
I highly reccomend you to bring your shopping bag when you go shopping.

⑥店員さんの無言の圧力( The nonverbal pressure from shopkeeper)
「会計431元になりますぅ～～～～。」でやっとお財布を開き始めるそこのあなた！
くるよ～。来るよ～～。
はよ金だせや。って心の中で思っているであろう店員さんの無言の圧力。
" Totally, 431 元” You must start to open your wallet and prepare for paying.
It is coming~. It coming~~.
S/he must think in her/his mind " hurry up, dude."
時折、舌打ちをされたり、貧乏ゆすりをされていたりと少し怖いけどあせらずじっくりね！☆
（とは言っても、お店に迷惑が掛からない程度のスピードでお願いします）
Soemtimes they click their tongue or shaking their legs. It seems scared, but don't feel any presure.
(But don't put shops to trouble.)

龍山寺周辺の治安ってどうなん？？ ～生活者が伝えるリアル 夜編～
皆さんこんにちは。

最近の台湾は雨雨雨、、いまいちテンションが上がらないインターン生のKeiです。
台風も接近してきているということなのでまた雨かーー。⤵⤵⤵
I'm Kei, Japanese intern. It has been raining these days so I am not in the mood.
I heard new typhoon is coming to Taiwan. It means it doesn't stop raining⤵⤵⤵

今回は龍山寺周辺の治安～夜編～～を紹介します。
This time, I am going to introduce about near Longshan Temple in night time.

１．市場（Market)
台湾って市場が有名だよなー。
インスタとか見ててもみんな夜市にいっておいしいもの沢山食べて楽しんでるし。（ワクワク）
I heard Taiwan is well known for market.
When I serch on instagram, peopel go to night market and have soem delicious foods. (so excited)
あれ、、、
Well....
ダレモイナイ。。。。。。。。。。（泣）
NOBODY HERE.............(Sad)
それはそうですよね。だってここは市場は市場でも朝から昼にかけての市場ですからね。
Yes. This market is lively in noon time. Not a nightmarket.
夜市については後日アップするのでしばらくお待ちください。
I am telling you about other night market later.
(こちら龍山寺からすぐの萬華夜市です。この日は景色がきれいだ：）
This is a picture of Wanhua Night market. What a nice view is it :)
しかしこの雰囲気怪しい。かなり怪しい。路地裏からだれか怪しい人が出てくるんじゃないか心配だ、、。
But this atmosphere seems mysterious. It seems like something bad will happen. Perhaps, stranger will coming......
「、、、、、（ガサっ）！？」
「、、、、、、（noise)！？」
「ぎゃーーーーっ！！！」、、てお前か（半泣き）
「Wow--------！！（screaming)」、、、、come on, bro.(with a tearful voice)
結局こちらは薄暗いだけであって不審者なんて出てきませんでした。
This area was just looks dark. Nobody attacked me.
しかし、たまに原付が通るので怖いからといって音楽ガンガンに聴いて歩くのは危ないのでお気をつけください。
But bikes sometimes pass this street. If you walk here with listing music, please care about the sound volume.

２．龍山寺前の公園( The park infront of Longshan Temple)
こちらの公園はアフター６（←ディズニーっぽくいいたいだけ）になるとこんな感じですね。
This park will be like this after 6 pm.
え、これは、、公園というか待ち合わせ場所に近いんじゃないかという位の人がいます。日本でいう「じゃあハチ公前集合で！」みたいなとこなんでしょうかね。
This...is...like an appointed place. There are so many people. It is like a famous appointed place, Hachikoumae in Tokyo.
年齢層はどうかなー。うん、相変わらずおじiお兄さん・おばaお姉さんたちがいっぱいだ。
What age of people are there??Yes, there are elderly handsome guys and beautiful ladies.
それともちろんホームレスの方々もたくさんいます。
Also, there are many homeless people.
治安が悪いっていうのはホームレスの人や物乞いの人が所かまわず寝っ転がっているからでしょう。実際は何も問題はありません。ただその光景がよく映えないだけ。
People said this area is dengerous because of homeless people and begger. They are just lieing.They don't attack us at all. Just the scenery seems not good.
しかも交番も近くにあるため何かあれば警察がすぐに駆け寄ってきてくれます。
And there is a police box near the park. If you face a problem, they will help you.

The dangerous level: Especially none
３．たくさん立っているおばちゃんおねえさんたち(The large number of eldely ladies)
あれ、日中に比べると明らかに増えてるぞ。単独行動していたはぐれメタルが集団行動を始めている。密集している姿を見ると怪しい雰囲気がバリバリで出ていますね。
再度警告ですが、いくら経験値を獲得したくてもこのはぐれメタルにはてを出さないでくださいね。

龍山寺周辺の治安ってどうなん？？ ～生活者が伝えるリアル 日中編～

台湾のご飯がおいしくて、そしてビールが安すぎてちょっとばかり肥えてしまったので最近は早寝・早起き・ランニングを心掛けているインターン生のKeiです。
I'm Kei, intern and I got weight because of delicious Taiwanese foods and cheep beer. So I am trying to wake up early, go to bed early and run every day.
先日宿泊された日本人ゲストがぽろっとこんなことを、
Last day, one guest said,
ゲスト「龍山寺の周辺ってなんだか古臭くて物騒ですよね。」
Guset: I think around Longshan Temple is old and dangerous.
私は声を大にして言いたい。
But, I want to say to you.
「そんなことはないですよーーー！」
I don't think so.It is just stereotype！
藁（わら）にも縋る勢いでGoogle大先生に聞いてみると、、、、、

こうなったら龍山寺周辺（萬華区）に5月から住み始め早４か月の私が現地のリアルを皆様にお伝えしようと思います。
Okay, I, actually I am living near Longshan Temple from this May, am explaining to you about THE REAL.
それではいきましょう！！

１、市場（Market)
ローカルな買い物といえばやはり市場ですね。
Speaking of shopping, market.
龍山寺の近くには新富市場・東三水市場があります。
There are maeket, 新富Market and 東三水Market near Longshan Temple.
こちらの市場は朝9時頃～14時頃まで活気があり、地域の方で賑わっています。
This market is lively especially from 9am to 14pm with local people.
直線約100mほどの市場をふらっと歩いてみても変な客引きをうけることはございません。
It is about 100M long. There is no risk. I have never met a guy who are trying to do trouting at this market.
うん、極めて安全。
100% safe.
（お肉を切る台湾マダム）
( Madam, Taiwanese butcher)
（たくさん並ぶ魚たち。皆さん綺麗に並んでいますね）
( many fish. displayed neatly)
（台湾のお菓子がチラホラ。スマホの電卓を駆使して購入してみるのもありですね。）
(You can see some Taiwanese snacks. You can buy them by using calculator)
これら以外にも、野菜や果物、服などいろいろなものが売られています。
Not only them, but also there are some shops which are selling vegetables, fruits and clothes.
異国の雰囲気を味わえる絶好のスポットです。
It si nice place to feel other country's atmosphere.

２．龍山寺前の公園( The park infront of Longshan Temple)
龍山寺を訪れるであろう観光客の方は間違いなくこの光景を目にすることでしょう。
When you visit to Longshan Temple, you have no chice to see this scenery.
そう、大人数の老人たち。
Yes, the large number of eldely people.
平日の昼間から皆さん仲良く集っております。
They gather even though today is weekday noon.
(おじいちゃんおばあちゃんのためにも遠目からパシャリ。）
(For their privacy, I took a picture a little bit far away)
のんびりと滞在している人もいますが、ホームレスの人もいます。そういった人はやはり身なりを見ればわかりますね。
Not only relaxing people, but also there are homeless people. You can recognize from their out fits.
（あれ、なんだか良さそうな公園にも見えてきたぞ。）
(This park is getting looks good for me)
白昼堂々とホームレスの人々が危害を加えてくるわけでもないです。
There is no danger with homeless at noontime.
よって、

３．たくさん立っているおばちゃんおねえさんたち(The large number of eldely ladies)
正直に言うと、かなりの確率で売〇婦です。注意してください。
Honestly, mire than 80％ they are pr〇stitutes. Be careful.
ただ、一度見ればわかると思いますが結構お年を召されています。
But, you will notice that they are not young.
ワンフレーズくらいの日本語を駆使してアプローチされますが、あとは基本的に会話になりませんので大丈夫です。
They will atract you with one phrase Japanese. But that's it. They cannot speak Japanese and Englsih.
無視するか適当にNO～～～だったり、【不要（buyao) 意味：No 】と言いながら颯爽と立ち去ればなんの問題はありません。
You just ignore them or say NO or 不要(buyao), means NO. Just keep walking.
おばちゃんお姉さんのアプローチを加味して、
Including their aproch,
危険度：★ （ほんとに無視していれば問題ないです。）
The dangerous level: ★ (Just Okay with ignoreing)
結論：日中の龍山寺周辺って案外普通のところである
Conclusion: Around Longshan Temple is just Okay

龍山寺周辺って食事処がめちゃくちゃあるんです。
There are nice restrants near Longshan Temple.
ということで、ちょっとローカルなお店をご紹介。
So, I am introduceing about local restrant.
店名：台南意麺
おお！
中国語がわからないKeiでも大体想像がつく！
台南市、そして麺だからヌードルなんだなと推測されると思います。
ですが、今回私がおすすめしたいのはこちらです。
You can recognize what kind of shop it is.
From character of 台南, this shop must be related to Tainan.
And character of 意麺, it must be noodle.
But this time, I want to recommend you these foods.
鶏肉飯（チーローハン）
Chickin rice
これがまあご飯が進むんです。台湾といえば魯肉飯（ルーローハン）の方が聞きなれていると思いますがこれも召し上がる一品です。味は比較的さっぱりしています。
You cannot stop eating. Taiwan is famous for Pork rice, but I want to say you should have it. It tastes light.
こーんなツボのチキンスープもあります。ダシがしっかりと取れていてうまみ成分たっぷりです。
There are chicken soup, surved in pod. The soup have savoury.
こちらのお店はDuckstay Hostelより徒歩３分ほどの距離にあります。
It takes just 3 minutes from Duckstay Hostel on foot.
目の前には剥皮寮歴史街区がございますので、ちょっとつまんで散歩なんてのもいいですね。
In front this shop, there is Bopilliao historic area.
After having it, it is nice to walk around that area.

ゆで卵って朝食に、そして間食にと優れものなんです。手軽にサクッと食べれますもんね。
I think boiled eggs are grerat as a breakfast and snacks. It is kind of instant food for me.
え、なんでこればっかり食べてるって、、、？

それは、、、、、「健康に気をつけているためでもあり、節約のためです！（真顔）」
That is........「For my health and to save money!（seriously)」
（今日も今日とて私はゆで卵を頬張ります）
（So, I eat this amazing boiled eggs every day.)
節約といえば、皆さんは台北旅行の際に費用を少しでも安く抑えたいなんて思いませんか？
Speaking of saving money, do you want to save money as much as possible when you travel Taipei?
今回は私が実践していることを皆さんに紹介したいと思います。
So, I am going to introduce what I am doing to save money.
１．Wi-Fiを借りない(Do Not Rent Wi-Fi)
、、、画面越しに「こいつは馬鹿じゃないか？」とつぶやいた方は少なからずいると思います。そうです、馬鹿なんです。
...I guess you maybe whispered like ARE YOU KIDDING ME?. I don't mean teasing you. It is serious.
でも安心してください。
旅行の前にしっかりと準備をしておけばなんの問題はございません。ほんとです。
It is going to be okay if you prepare well in advance.
まずはこれ。
Firstly,
・グーグルマップ（Google Maps）
これ知らない人が多いと思うんですけど、オフラインダウンロード機能があるんです。
I think some guys don't know this fanction. It can download a map. If you download it, you can use it without internet connection.
だから、台湾に来る前に行きたいエリアのマップをダウンロードしておいてください。
So, I reccomend you to download a map which contain the place you want to visit before you travel.
道に迷ったときにルート案内機能は使用できないですけど、ダウンロードしてある範囲内であれば検索は可能ですので便利です。何とか目的地に辿りつけるでしょう。
It cannot use the guiding function, but you can search where it is if the area is in map.
【利用方法(How to Use)】
①まずは目的地を調べます。その後左上部にある🈪マークを押します。
①First of all, searching destination. Then, push the top left 🈪 mark.
②次にオフラインマップを選択します。
②Next, select off-line map.
③自分の地図を選択します。
③Select my map.
④あとはどれくらいの範囲をダウンロードするか選択してダウンロードを押します。
④Finally, you select how much area will you download. Then, select download.
拡大して狭い範囲を選択するとオフラインの時により細かく見ることが可能です。
You can see information in detail if you select narrow arera.
逆に広範囲すぎると情報量が少なくなります。
On the other hand, it is going to be vague if you select widely.
・画面収録（Screen Recording)
事前に調べて、いざ出発！、、、あれ、やっぱり心配になってきた。
Searching well. Okay, it's time to go!.....wait, I am getting nervous.
なんてあると思います。そんな場合はiPhoneの設定にある画面収録を活用しましょう。
It sometimes happens. So, why don't you use screen recording whichi is iPhone’s functuion.
これは簡単に言うとスクリーンショットの動画版です。
It is kind of movie version's scren shot.
だからフォルダが写真だらけにならないで済みますし、サイトで検索している状態と同じように見ることが出来るのでかなりおすすめです。
Your folder won't be full with tons of pictures and it is no difference with serching on Interent. So I highly recommend you this way.
【利用方法(How to Use)】
①まず(設定)を開き(コントロールセンター)を開きます。
①Open (Settin)g and select (control Center).
②開いたら、(コントロールをカスタマイズ)を選びます。
②Then, chose (Custmoize Controles).
③左の緑+を押して(画面収録)を追加します。
③Push left green+, add (Screen Recording).
④するこの画面に画面収録機能が追加されます。
④Done.
あとは調べたいページを開いた後にこのボタンを押し、録画をはじめます。そして終わりたいときはもう一度このボタンを押せばフォルダに保存されます。
When you decide which page you will screen record, push this button. When you want to finish, just push again. Then, it is in your folder.
・カフェに行く(Go to Café)
台北にあるチェーン店のカフェやおしゃれなカフェには大概フリーWi-Fiがあります。
Almost all stylish Café which are in Taipei have free Wi-Fi.
ただ、日本と違ってスタバのWi-Fiは登録する際に台湾で使用可能な電話番号を入力しなければいけないのでSIM利用者やこちらで契約していないと利用はできません。
But you cannot use Wi-Fi at Starbacks Coffee. You must have a phone which can use in Taiwan.
おしゃれなカフェでくつろぎながら次の行動はどうしようかなーんて調べることも可能です。

・MRT駅構内のフリーWi-Fiを活用する(Using FREE Wi-Fi at MRT Station)
Actually, you can catch Free Wi-Fi at MRT stations in Taipei.
接続に少々時間を要しますが、かなりサクサク利用できること間違いありません！
It takes time to connect, but it works very well.
その為、観光先の最寄り駅に着いた際に調べようかなと思っても安心して利用できます。
So it is good for serching information after arriving the station.
2．ゲストハウスに宿泊する(Staying at Guesthouse)
旅行の際の出費で航空券の次に大きな比重を占めるのが宿泊費ですよね。
The most expensive thing is air ticket when you go travel. Next thing is for staying.
台湾旅行と言えば、ひたすら観光名所を巡る・食を楽しむが基本ですので宿泊先はシャワー浴びれて、ベッドがあるくらいの要素で大丈夫なのではないでしょうか？
Speaking of Taiwan trip, visiting famous sightseeing places and eat some delicious foods basically. So you just need a place where have a shower room and a bed, don't you?
これをすれば費用を大幅に抑えることが可能です。
If you chose this way, you can save much money.

また最近、台北にはおしゃれなゲストハウスが増えてきています。
Actually, the number of stylish guesthouse is increasing thesedays.
積極的に話かければ簡単に異国の友人を作ることが可能です。一緒に旅行に出かけることも。
If you try to talk with some other guests, it is easy to make new friends. Perhaps, you can go out with them.
そ・し・て、フリーWi-Fiもあるので便利です。
And, there is Free Wi-Fi.

台湾ってほんとにWi-Fi天国なので案外なくても滞在できますよー。
Taiwan has tons of Free Wi-Fi. You can stay without rental Wi-Fi.
実際に、私もWi-Fiレンタル・SIM契約なしでフリーWi-Fiのみで生活をはじめ早4か月です。
Even though I am living in Taipei mopre than 4 months, I can live only Free Wi-Fi.
