台北で飛行機が真上に見える場所！！/A place where can see an airplane just above in Taipei!!

こんにちは、台北ゲストハウスDuckstay Hostelの日本人インターンKioです。

Hi! I'm Kio, a Japanese intern at Duckstay Hostel.

先日アメリカ人スタッフのトムから、なにやら台北で飛行機が間上に見える場所があると聞き、急遽昨晩仕事終わりに行ってきました！

The other day, I heard that there is a place in Taipei where you can see airplanes coming in overhead by Tom, an American staff, so we went there last night in a hurry!

トムは台湾の大学に通っているので、最寄りの駅「行天宮駅」で待ち合せました。

Duckstay Hostelから行天宮駅までは約30分です。

Tom is a student at an university in Taiwan, and we met at "Xingtiangong station".

It takes about 30 minutes from Duckstay Hostel to Xingtiangong station.

駅名の　行天宮　とは何かって…？よくぞ聞いてくださいました。

What is Xingtiangong......? Thank you for asking that!

そう、駅から約５分のこのお寺の名前なんです。

後で知りましたが商売の神様がいることで有名みたいです。

Yes, it's the name of this temple, only 5 minutes from the station.

I found out later that it is famous for hosting the god of business.

夜のお寺は昼間とはまた違った雰囲気がありますね。

外の提灯も赤く照らされて綺麗でした。

The temple at night is a bit different than during the day.

The lanterns outside were lit red, very beautiful.

中にも入ったのですが、撮影禁止ということで写真は撮れませんでした…

ですが平日にも関わらず多くの人でにぎわっていました.

We entered the temple, but I don't have any pictures because you cannot take pictures inside. There were so many people inside despite being a weekday.

…...と、私たちのお目当てはこちらではなく飛行機が見える場所！

行天宮を後にし、再び歩き出します。

No no, our final destination is not here, but rather a place where we can see airplanes!

We said good bye to Xingtiangong, and started to walk again.

駅から約10分の場所に、何人か人が集まっているスポットを発見！

After ten minutes, we arrived at a spot where several people were huddled together!
