台北の朝市／Morning Market in Taipei

Duckstay Hostelでインターンをしています

(近くの夜市で小籠包を食べて、この世にこんな旨いものがあるなんて生まれてよかった台湾サイコ～と思った)

今日は台湾の台北、龍山寺駅にあるDuckstay Hostelから歩いて3分の

ローカル朝市「新富町市場」「東三水街市場」を紹介したいと思います☺

ふたつの市場は隣り合っていて、二つの市場の屋台は同じ道に続いています。

Hi! I am Nozomi doing internship in Duckstay Hostel in Taipei, Taiwan.

(Recently, I ate soup dumpling and it was super delicious. I thought that I am happy to be alive seriously!)

Today, I am going to introduce two morning markets called "Shintomicho Market" and "Higashi Sansuigai Market". It takes about 3 minutes by walk from Duckstay Hostel near to Ronxian station in Taipei. These two markets are side by side and there are shops on the same street.

この市場には、私自身、よく朝ごはんや昼ご飯を買いに行ったり

Duckstay Hostelのローカルツアーイベントで行ったりします☺

I often go to these markets to buy my breakfast or lunch.

In Duckstay Hostel, it has a tour to show around this market.

今回紹介する朝市は、かなり地元色が濃いめにでていて、

海外に来たらその土地の雰囲気を味わいたいという方にぴったりの朝市場です!

These markets have a local vibe, if you want to enjoy the local atomosphere when you go abroad, I recommend these markets!

私も台湾の朝市、夜市大好きです。♡

目の前で料理や、作業をするところを見ることができて、

道に屋台が続いて、うるさくて、たくさん人がいる朝市や夜市って

子供のころによく行ったお祭りに雰囲気が似てるんですよね。

あのわくわくする気持ちがたまらない...!

ゲストハウスの上司に

「料理するところを間近に見ることができるのが台湾の市場のいいところですよね」

と言ったら

「安全で清潔かどうかわかるしね。」って言ってました(笑)

I also love Morning Markets and Night Markets in Taiwan.

We can see people cooking or doing something before our eyes.

Food stands are located along the street, noisy and many people reminds me of the festival that I often go to when I was a child. I love this secenery.

I said to my supervisor of guesthouse that "Why I like markets in Taiwan is that we can see people cooking.", she said "Yeah, we can judge this shop is safety and clean or not." lol

この市場は、様々なものが売られており、食品はもちろん、調味料、洋服や日用品雑貨など、地元の方も多く来られています。台湾の伝統的なお菓子などもあるので、観光客の方でも雰囲気込みで大いに楽しめると思います☺

Many products are sold in there markets, like food, seasoning, clothes and everyday necessities, so many local people are also shopping. Taiwanese traditional snacks are sold too, eventhough tourists can be enjoyed to do shopping these markets.

私のおすすめは大豐魚丸店さんのごぼう揚げ。まじで止まらなくなる。

My recommendation shop is 大豐魚丸店`s fried burdock. I can not stop eating...

そして台湾では8月下旬の今、「たけのこ」が旬です！

連日の雨によってほかの野菜たちの値段は上がってしまっているのですが、たけのこは雨によってみずみずしさが出るそうです。

市場では欲しいものを言うと、状態がいいものを選んでくれることが多いです☺

In taiwan, on end of August is best season of bamboo shoot!

The other vegetables` price are raised by the long rain, but this rain makes bamboo shoot more delicious. In this market, you order something you want, shop owners choose a good condition one:)

ほかにも旧正月やお誕生日に食べるような、おめでたい伝統的なケーキなどもあります☺

This one is traditional ausupicious cake eaten on the lunar New Year or birthday.

朝市なので、お店によって開店時間はまちまちですが10時ごろには開いています。閉店は長いところでも16時には閉店してしまうので、行く方はお早めに！月曜日も定休日にしているお店が多いです。

These are morning markets, it depends on shopes but about 10 am all of them are opened! They are closed at least 4 pm. If you go there, you should go as soon as possible. Most of shops are closed on Monday.
