台湾文化・食 交流プロジェクト /Taiwanese culture & food sharing project

先日はここのコミュニティーホールで定期イベントがあったので参加させていただきました。
Taiwanese culture & food sharing projectの主な目的としては若者に対して商店街の良さを知ってもらうことそして手料理を覚えてもらうことだそうです。
買い物はスーパーマーケットですることが多くなってきました。しかし、そこにはただ単に買い手と売り手の関係しか存在しません。一方で商店街では双方の関係は友人のようなもので絆が存在します。ものを買うだけが目的でなく、人に会いに行く感覚に近いのですかね。
また、近年は一人暮らしする若者は外食で済ましてしまう傾向にあるそうでそういった方が簡単な手料理を覚えてくれたらいいなという願いをもってこのプロジェクトに取り組んでいるそうです。
説明の後に近くの新富市場 / 東三水街市場へ食材を買いに行きました。ここの市場は古くからあるようであるお店は3世代目だとか。雰囲気からして歴史を感じました。
買い物から帰ってきてからは、みんなで手分けして料理の準備をしました。今回の料理はspring rollというもので生春巻きみたいなものですね。
食材をテーブルに準備してあとは自分好みの食材を好きな分だけ乗せて巻いて食べるだけ。
味に関してはどこか甘くて食材は新鮮なのでほんとにおいしかったです。

Last week, we had a regular event at this community hall so I joined that event.
That is Taiwanese culture & food sharing project. The purpose of this project are letting young people know about the some good points of shopping street and learn about how to cook easily by themselves.
Nowadays, people tend to buy some ingredients at supermarkets. There is a relationship just like a buyer and seller. On the other hand, in case of shopping street, the relationship is not like a business. It is like a friend. The purpose of shopping is not just shopping, people go there to meet and talk with their friends.
These days, young people who are living alone tend to have a lunch/ dinner. We hope they learn something through this project and will be cook by themselves.
After explanation, we went to shopping street, 新富市場/東三水街市場 to buy some ingredients. Some of shops which is in this street are third generation. It makes the history.
After finished shopping, we prepared for lunch. This time, we made spring roll, it is like 春巻, Harumaki.We put some cut ingredients on the plate and chose what we are putting inside the dough then roll it up. It tasted a little bit sweet and the ingredients were really fresh. Tasted really good.
Here at Duckstay hostel hold an event like this once a month.
There are many famous sightseeing places arounf Duckstay Hostel like Longshan Temple (3minutes on foot), Xiamen ding (15.minutes) and the other night market.
I think it is also good staying in Manka where is like historical area.
