せっかくゲストと仲良くなったのに、、、、

どうも、お別れが悲しい日本人インターン生のKeiです。最近はうれしいことに日本人ゲストが多くて恋しかった日本語がバリバリ飛び交っております。

We could be friends......hi, I am Kei, a Japanese intern who don't want to say goodbye with guests. Thesedays, there are many Japanese guests so I can listen Japanese which I missed. But I like guesthouse. It is nice place to meet new friends.

やっぱりタピオカ？台北101？龍山寺？それとも魯肉飯？

Perhaps, Bubble milktea? Taipei 101? Longshan Temple? or Pork rice?

全部、、、、、たまらないですね。（よだれ）

All of them are amazing. I love it. (drooling.)

観光客の方が向かわれる夜市といえばここ、

士林夜市

Shilin night market

いや、もうここ夜市というかデパートじゃないですかと突っ込みを入れたくなるような規模のフードコートを擁していることで有名ですよね。

This one seems like department store. It is famous for large food court.

もちろんここの夜市も好きですけどね。

でもなんか、、、、ディープさに欠けるというか、きれいすぎるというか、、、心の奥にある探求心をくすぐられないんですよね。

Of course, I like this night market, but it lucks the darkness, too clean. It doesn't tickle my curiosity.

私の頭の中の方程式はずばりこう。

This is an equation which I am thinking.

アジア×夜市＝ゾクゾク

Asia × night market = horripilation

ということで、台湾随一のディープさを誇る萬華区の夜市をご紹介したいと思います。

So I am going to share about night market which is in Wanhua where is called one of the most dubious night market in Taiwan.

艋舺夜市（Wanhua night market)

はっきりというと特徴はございません！いや、現地の方々が集うローカルな夜市っていうのが特徴かな。雰囲気は日本で言うと下町や西成に近しいかなと。なんせお財布に優しいのがありがたいです。こちらに来たら、外さないで頂きたいものがこちら。

Actually, there is no salient features at this market. No, it is a uniqu point that local people gatther this sight market. The atmosphere is like a Shimomachi or Nishinari,Japan. What I want to say is really cheap.If you come here, you should try these foods.

カジキのすり身の揚げ物（Fried minched marline with egg)

まずはその値段。なんと１本10元。ほかにも数カ所夜市に行っていますが見かけたのはこちらの夜市でのみ。近くのコンビニでビールを買い、この揚げものと一緒にぐびっとしませんか？たまりません。

The price is 10NTD. I have been to other night market, but I have never seen this food at other place. Have your favorite beer and drink it with this food. It is amazing.

葱抓餅（Onion pancake)

夜市入り口すぐに長蛇の列を見かけたらおそらくこのお店です。常に大行列なので少し我慢してくださいね。ネギが入ったサクサクふわふわのパンのような、ピザの土台のような食べ物です。お母さん（店員さん）が焼き上げる姿に注目！　おすすめは加蛋（卵を加える）と起司（チーズ）入りです。

When you see many people are in line near the night market sign , it must be this shop. Onion pancake is crunchy outside and fluffy inside. You should check the madam's performance to bake this pancake! We recommend you to add egg and cheese.

車輪餅（Wheel cake)

おやおや、これはあれですね。今川焼ですね。どれどれ、お味は、、、、。甘くない。控えめに言っても甘くない。台湾はお茶もタピオカも激甘なのに、なんで、、。という裏切りを受けましたが、あたりを見渡せば結構な確率で見つけれるので召し上がってみてください。値段は、、安いもので10元から。

Well, well. This is it. Imagawayaki. How about taste. It ..is..not sweet.Not at all. Whyyyy? Taiwanese tea and bubble tea are so sweet. Again, whyyyyy? You can find shops which are selling wheel cake. It only 10NTD.

華西街観光夜市　(Huaxi Tourist night market)

こちらは、かなり怪しいにおいがプンプンします。

This night market seems mysterious.

食事処もそこそこありますが、目立つのがマッサージ屋さんやアクセサリー、洋服屋さん、オトナなお店が連ねます。こちらの注目ポイントはずばりこれ。

There are many restaurants, massage shops, accessory shops, clothes shops and shops for adults. This is a fanous restaurant.

蛇のスープ＠金代山産薬膳坊 (Snake soup)

確実に滋養強壮ですね。気になるお味ですがあっさりしていてなんだか普通。じゃあ、きっと蛇のお肉がすごいんだ。と意気込むもののこれまた普通。もはやめちゃめちゃ骨のあるチキン。なかなか食す機会がないと思うので挑戦するのもありですね。

It is kind of analeptic. How about this taste? it is just okay. The soup is light.

So, the snake meat should be strange, but it is normal. Just tastes like chicken with too much tiny bones. You hardly ever have a chance to have snake in your daily life so you should try it when you come to this night market.

案外、大人同士でこれば楽しめる夜市なのではないでしょうか。他の華やかな夜市とは対照的ですが、他では味わうことのないアダルトな雰囲気があり珍しい夜市ではないかと思います。怪しいおばさんお姉さんもいるので海外だーって感じはします。日本人もなかなか来ないので日本語あんまり聞きたくないよって方にはいいかなと。

I think this night market will be nice place for adults. Compared with other night markets, it is not gorgeous. But seems like it has quite unique atmosphere.
