あなたはいくつ納得？？ありがち台湾事情
いやー、あるよねー、あるよねーー。
毎朝、自分でセットした目覚まし時計にイラっとすること。どうもインターン生のKeiです。
It happens. It always happens.
I was annoyed when the alarm which I set rings in the morning. Hi, I am Kei, intern.
(誰だよ。こんなにアラームかけたやつ。あ、、、、自分や。）
(Who did set this much alarm? OMG, it's me)
きっと誰しもが些細なあるあるをお持ちのはずです。
I guess everyone has happenings.
今日は台湾で生活し始めて４か月が経過したKeiが思う台湾あるあるを紹介したいと思います。
Today, I want to share with you about my happenings in Taiwan. Actually, i have been here more than 4 months.
「そんなの知ってるわー！（怒り）」ってことや「そうなんやー！（驚き）」ってこともあるかと思いますがどうぞお付き合いください。m(._.)m

①車は常に縦列駐車(Always Parallel Parking)
日本の自動車学校では避けては通れない縦列駐車のテスト。
教官を横目に「いや、こんなんどこで使うねん！」と心で呟いていた私を含めた方々。台湾では必須テクニックです。（←、、、、だから何？）
日本では、、、なかなか発動しませんね。（笑）
If you go to driving school in Japan, you have to pass the exam for parallel parking.
I guess that you muttered by yourself in your mind "We hardly ever face that situations!" when you seated next to teacher.
BUT it is quite important skill in Taiwan. ←...So what?)
In Japan, ...hardly ever.
②原付・原付・原付 (many motor cycles)
「今日は何食べようかなー。」と道を歩いているとこれまた駐車された原付がズラリ。
歩道も構わずブンブン進んできます。歩行時にはご注意下さい。
また、早朝・夕方と通勤・帰宅ラッシュ時にはこれはもうたくさんの原付が信号の下で待ち、信号早く変われよ。と言わんばかりにいるので機会があれば見てみてください。
When you are walking and thinking what you will have, you can see many motor cycles which are parked.
People spmetimes driving even though you are walking footway. Be careful. And you can find some of them in the morning, people commite to their work place, or in the evening, people finsh working and going back to home.
③とりあえずのフリーWi-Fi( Trying to find Free Wi-Fi)
台北では多くの場所でフリーWi-Fiを利用できます。MRT駅構内、カフェ、バスの中、街の中、お店の中だったりと。ひょっとしてレンタルWi-Fi必要ないんじゃないかな？
You can get free Wi-Fi easily at many places in Taipei. For instance, MRT stations, inside buses, at Cafe, in the city and some shops. Perhaps, you don't have to borrow Wi-Fi.
(Keiは今日もWi-Fiを求めて街を歩きます。）

④カップルがイチャイチャ( Many couples enjoying their time)
若者を筆頭にところ構わず、日中からイチャイチャされたいます。はい、もう慣れました。わかったから。だから、、、ね、、、。
At the head of young people, wherever and whenever they are having a nice time.
Okay. all right. ........please....sto..p....it. please..
⑤お買い物袋は有料( Paid plastic bags)
店員さん「メンバーズカード持ってる？」
Shopkeeper: " Do you have a member ship card?"
このタイミングではまだ聞かれません。
Not this time.

・店員さん「（買い物袋）いるか？？」
・Shopkeeper " Do you need a plastic bag?"

店員さん「会計431元になりますぅ～～～～。」
Shopkeeper: " Totally, 431 元”
ということです。レジ袋はお金とられるんでマイバッグをもってお買い物に行くことをおすすめします。
皆さん、資源は大切に！
I highly reccomend you to bring your shopping bag when you go shopping.

⑥店員さんの無言の圧力( The nonverbal pressure from shopkeeper)
「会計431元になりますぅ～～～～。」でやっとお財布を開き始めるそこのあなた！
くるよ～。来るよ～～。
はよ金だせや。って心の中で思っているであろう店員さんの無言の圧力。
" Totally, 431 元” You must start to open your wallet and prepare for paying.
It is coming~. It coming~~.
S/he must think in her/his mind " hurry up, dude."
時折、舌打ちをされたり、貧乏ゆすりをされていたりと少し怖いけどあせらずじっくりね！☆
（とは言っても、お店に迷惑が掛からない程度のスピードでお願いします）
Soemtimes they click their tongue or shaking their legs. It seems scared, but don't feel any presure.
(But don't put shops to trouble.)
