流しそうめん in 台湾！Nagashi-Somen, do you know?

さて先日、交流企画
流しそうめんの会が無事開催されましたっ！！
多くの方に日本の夏の風物詩をシェアできました。
参加してくださった皆様本当にありがとうございます。

On last Wednesday, we held Japanese Nagashi-Somen event!
We appreciate that we could share Japanese summer habitat with many participants.
今日はその様子をご紹介します。
まず初めに簡単に自己紹介！
そして流しそうめんについて、歴史や由来を交えながら説明しました
食に関する日本語も伝授。参加者の皆さんは日本語が堪能で
いただきますやごちそうさまはご存知でしたので
日本語のオノマトペを、、、何かというと
つるつる。
を教えました！
流しそうめんを食べた時にこの食感をつるつると言えるよ～と。
I will report how was the event in this post.
At first we introduced ourself, then we expressed what is the Nagashi-Somen.
In addition, we taught some Japanese including Itdakimasu (the word we say before eating to thank for each food), Gochisousama(the word we say after finish eating),
and "TSURU-TSURU". Have you heared that?
This express the mouthfeel of the noodle.
You can use "TSURUTSURU" when you eat Somen, Japanese wheat noodle.
そして流しそうめん開始！！！
そうめんはもちろん、ダックステイのお隣にある東三水市場の製麺所で作られている麺も流してダックステイらしさも出せました。
たまごやお豆腐、さらにはデザートとしてブドウも
流し？いや、転がしました（笑）
大いに盛り上がってくれました～
Then we started FLOATING Nagashi somen!
Not only Somen, we put color noodle that made by traditional shop in Don san shui marcket near by our hostel. We can say we did Duckstay style Nagashi Somen.
In addition, we put eggs, Tofu, and grapes as a dessert.
Everyone eajoyed so mach!
【準備裏話】
今回流しそうめんの流すための竹がなく、
ペットボトルで作成しましたがこれもこれで透明で綺麗でした
全日準備で試したのはツイッターで書いた通り
パスタ（笑）

試しに流したのはパスタ！
竹ではなくペットボトルを使いましたが、透明でキレイ🌟こんなに手軽に流しそうめんができると思いませんでした〜😳！

これで成功！と思っていたところ、
なんだか耐久性が弱いし細すぎる。。。
水が漏れてきた。。。
ということでなんと完成と思ったのに
2リットルペットボトルで作り直し！！！
まじかー！泣
でもまあそういうこともあるよね。しかたない。
と思っていたところ、周りにいてさっきまで私たちのことをなんだ？と横目で怪しそうにみていたゲストの方たちが
こうすればいいんじゃない？
ここ弱くなってるから補強するよ！
と、どんどん手伝ってくれて感動。
半ばこれ大丈夫かな～と心配になったのですが
これは絶対完成させなきゃと思いましたね。
そうして何とかしてあの流しそうめんは完成したのでした。
~Backstory~
Usually we use bamboo as a tube to float noodle, but we didnt have it,
so we made that by pet bottle. It is ununexpectedly beautiful and clear looking.
We put pasta noodle to test actually!

BUUUUT, problem was happen,
it was lack of endurance, a littele water leaked out from the bottle.
OMG, how can I do?
I was disapointed to see the view.
Then we decided to remake it agin usung 2L bottle.
The good new is that the other guests who were sitting near by us and was looking sideways, they came to us to help and gave some advises to make it better!
I was really moved by their kindness, then it made me to be eager to finish up.
Then we could finish to make the tube successfuly!
自分にとってこのインターンで初めての企画で
準備期間も１週間しかなかったのですが
こうして日本文化を紹介できて、楽しんでいただけたこと
何よりまず興味を持ってくれたことがとても嬉しかったです。
こうして交流を深められて
ただ泊まるだけでは得られない思い出ができるのがゲストハウス・ホステルが持つ魅力だなあ、と改めて認識できた日でありました。
最後に盆踊りを少しと、お土産に折り紙をプレゼントしました！
We played Bon-dance a little and gave Origami to each participants.
また次回の企画も予定しているのでまたSNSに掲載します！
ぜひ在台湾でお時間のある方はぜひいらしてくださいね。
This event was my first planed event in this internship, and even we started to prepare before a week, I am so glad to finish it successfully and I felt happy to recognize participants got interest in Japanese culture!
Moreover, this event made me know hostel and guesthouse is where we can share great memory that we cannot get it if we stay not in Hostel or guesthouse.
We will held next event soon, if you are curiousand have time, we are welcoming you! see you then!
